Hello readers + happy Friday everyone! Today we’re sharing another gorgeous house we recently sketched for a custom moving announcement order.

Congratulations on your lovely new home, T family!

At age three, here is a little list of what Em loved. As you can see, board games were a huge hit in our house.

Candy Land – She was given the princess edition. You can also find the classic edition.

Hi Ho Cherry-O – A fun way to encourage counting.

Cupcake Party Game – This was by far Em’s favorite game. She’d play this every single day.

Balance Bike – We loved this bike. It was the reason Em was able to learn to ride a training wheel free bike at age four.

We have had a flurry of house sketch orders lately. This is one we had the opportunity to create. This time, a 5″ x 7″ print which is perfect for framing.

recent work // ruby

A few months ago, we were commissioned to design and print a memorial card for a Pomeranian named Ruby. A beautiful prayer was written in her memory. We included it along with her picture. What a sweet + touching tribute.

We’ve got a lovely line up of printed work to share with all of you! Today, we will begin with these custom moving announcements.

Congratulations on your beautiful new home G family!

em’s fourth birthday party

A while back, we shared with you Em’s fourth birthday invitations. Today, we’ll share her party pics with you!

Em takes dancing. She loves it and has made a few friends in dance class. And, it just so happens that many of her school friends also take dance classes. So, we decided to throw a ballet birthday party for Em!

Her ballet birthday was held at Ballet Austin. The set up was wonderful! In one, window-filled room there was food + cake.

Sandwiches, cupcakes and a small cake all came from a local grocery store. The flowers did too. I bought several types of flowers and arranged them the day before the party.

For the table decor, I painted some of the drink bottles we already had on hand. We placed a few small floral arrangements in them.

The vintage cupcake toppers we ordered never arrived. So, we improvised. We made these toppers using scraps from her invitations and glitter paper.

A real ballerina in a beautiful tutu brought the girls into a dance studio for a forty-five minute dance class.

After the class, the girls returned for refreshments and cake!

For the favors, we embellished hair bows with ballet buttons. Each girl received a bow and a bracelet inside a pretty gold polka dot bag.

So that’s it! Em’s ballet birthday party to celebrate turning four. A big thank you to all that were able to join us.

pre-k 2014

Today, this happened. Em started her big girl school. Going daily brings a new routine for both of us. She was very excited this morning though she got a little sad when it was time for us to go and her to stay. Ah, little girl. Four years in a blink and I have a feeling it’s only going to speed up.

southern living // july 2014

Back in April, the folks at Southern Living contacted us about designing stationery for their Editor-In-Chief, Lindsay Bierman. Since the issue showcases Lindsay’s house, we modified our popular custom sketch moving announcements for the feature. The July 2014 Southern Living issue is currently out, and we are absolutely thrilled to be included!
