What a great weekend we had! Besides knocking out a ton of printing, we strapped Em to our back, got out of the house and checked out the new festival in town. It’s called the Gypsy Picnic, and it was a celebration of trailer food. There were so many people. And doggies. Sadly, we didn’t get to try out any food because the lines were pretty long + they were running out of food, but we enjoyed the music, great weather and walked down the riverside. Afterward, we grabbed some munches at Opal Divine’s and ate on the patio. Did I mention how glorious the weather was? Beautiful, perfect weather.
So, how was your weekend?

Friday, you did it again. You snuck up on me!
I don’t know about you, but we’ve had quite a busy week over here! We’re busy designing + printing custom orders and holiday projects. And, we’re busy working on the 2010 Holiday Collection. So much to do!
Until the new line launches, you can purchase cards + tags from our past collections here.

We received a sweet request from Lauren. Her and her husband are expecting a baby, and they were hoping to have a custom letterpress card to announce their baby’s gender. A card that they could hand to the sonogram technician to fill out and then seal up. A card that they could open up Christmas morning and read their surprise gender news. A card that was handmade and could be a keepsake for their child’s baby book.
We turned to this classic nursery rhyme for inspiration and created a little card that could be checked off, tucked into a baby envelope and then sealed until Christmas morning. We love how it turned out. Congrats again, Lauren!

How was your Halloween weekend? Have any fun? We did! Em was a little ladybug. We trick or treated with her up and down our street then headed back to our house to give out candy and hang out with family. Kacey’s brother and sister-in-law brought Play-doh to hand out, so we had a little Play-doh vs. candy contest. We offered the kiddies a choice between the two. Play-doh won out. It was such a hit + a brilliant idea, we’re thinking of offering it again next year.
