birch boxes

i’m thinking about adding these pretty boxes to my desk, too. simple + nicely priced.

lovely design

it’s a good thing i spent a good chunk of wednesday organizing our studio, because lookie what came in the mail today.

this lovely address file now has a sweet home on my desk. i’ve been lusting after it for what seems like forever, and i finally decided to get on the waiting list for one.

it’s handmade, filled with pretty + colorful recycled paper, and receiving it really made my day!

wall blank

have you heard about wall blank? each weekday a new piece of art is available for sale, and it’s available for one week unless the piece sells out. the prices are pretty fantastic.

the prints featured above are from their vintage collection. they are releasing a different vintage print each day during the day of january. i’m looking forward to seeing the rest of their offerings.  |  via @kim_michelle

catered cupcakes

recently, i came across the the cupcake bar, and i just had to share it with you guys. it’s such a fabulous idea for a party. prior to the event, the host selects a cupcake menu and they can customize it to match their particular party theme or color scheme. at the event, guests choose the cupcake flavor, filing, icing + topping of their choice and the cupcake bartenders put it together on the spot. plus, they handle all the set-up and clean up!

oh, and yes those are cupcakes topped with nerds + pop rocks. fun, right?

cheese table

have you seen this gorgeous dessert cheese table display put together by sunday suppers? i love the white pedestals and glass cloches and the ethereal cheese cloth tablecloth draped over the rustic table. it’s simply beautiful.

it looks so scrumptious, too. oh, man how i miss soft cheese. i’m really looking forward to nibbling on some post baby!

shop update // valentine’s + thank yous

we’ve added a few goodies to our etsy shop! first up is this sweet valentine’s day card. i designed it so that it has enough room for writing a personal message.

we also added two new thank you card sets including these cards. although great for everyday use, i thought they would be perfect for giving thanks for bridal shower or baby shower gifts. the rain drops are in a soft gray plus there are several that are blind impressed [no ink] too.

i made these thank you notes to coordinate with the personal gender announcements we designed + printed. they’ve been very useful to express thanks for the lovely baby gifts we’ve received. thinking they would also work well as everyday thank you notes, we printed a few extra and have included them in our shop, too.

enjoy!

lace paper

pretty lace paper from kate’s paperie would be lovely wrappings for valentine’s day gifts.

house blocks

have you seen these alphabet blocks from house industries? they’re printed with non-toxic, lead-free child-safe inks so they would make excellent wooden blocks for a child’s room. especially when the child’s parents love typography as much as i do!
