featured // sage wedding pros

over the years, i’ve been very fortunate to meet many supportive and talented people in the blogging world. back when kacey and i were forming duet letterpress, several of these blogging friends and i realized we were all embarking on a similar path at the same time. we were all in the midst of starting up our own businesses. each of us had goals. each of us had questions. together, we decided to form a little group in order to draw strength and knowledge from each other and go along this new business journey together.

our little group known as the bodacious business planners is comprised of four wedding planners, two stationery designers, two photographers and an illustrator, and today we are being featured on sage wedding pros. thanks michelle!

babymooon

this weekend, kacey and i took a little babymoon to san antonio, san marcos and fredericksburg, texas.

friday night, we found a fabulous sushi restaurant in san antonio where we ended up eating two nights in a row. it was so yummy, and i was a good girl and stuck to the cooked rolls.

saturday, we drove from san antonio to fredericksburg, a quaint little german town, and popped in and out of the shops including this cute one. for lunch, we dined at rathskeller. it’s a cozy, easily missed restaurant that’s located in the basement of what use to be a hospital. after, kacey grabbed a german beer at the fredericksburg brewery, and we continued strolling along main street. we happened upon this amazing german structure in a little park area. wonderful right?

sunday we headed to san marcos, had lunch at center point station and headed over to the humungo outlet mall. i think i spent an hour at the pottery barn outlet trying to decide on bedding and drapes for the nursery. after much going back and forth, i ended up just getting a mobile. it’s cute and was a great deal.

we had such a great + relaxing weekend. how about you, what did you do this weekend?

dash & albert totes

Loving these hand-loomed cotton tote bags by rug company dash & albert. they look rugged but cozy.

spearmint baby

forgive me for posting more nursery pictures. we’re in the midst of cleaning out our guest room and converting it to our little girl’s nursery. i’m looking for all the inspiration i can find! i bookmarked these three nurseries while browsing spearmint baby, a wonderful place for nursery + children’s room inspiration. there are so many, many beautiful baby rooms too look through.

i love the soft colors and scalloped crib in the room below. and the pom poms! and the ribbon hanging!

in the room below, i adore the color palate, striped window treatments + vintage feel. oh, and be sure to check out the adorable lighting above the changing table. you can see them here. love.

below, i love the refined look, dark wood [which we'll have] + simple color scheme.

in the photo collages above, i’ve linked them to their sources.

rose window print

isn’t this beautiful? it’s an illustration based on notre dame’s famous north rose window, and i’ve just added it to my etsy favorites. the print is available in black, brown, blue and yellow.

beach daydream
