vintage style seating

How fabulous are these vintage style seating options? Very. I first spotted the Mid-century studio stool on guest bedroom post, and with a little bit of digging, I found out they are actually from Sundance. I love the lines of each of these. And they have such character.

THANK YOU! I have been looking for a source for good thonet-style chairs in a dark stain! Now if only I could find a dining table…

elizabeth, that’s one of my absolute favorite chairs. such a classic. have you tried craigslist for a table? i’m amazed at what can be found there.

I have checked Craigslist a couple times, but the problem is that I have a very specific style of table in mind – based on an antique that I found online and didn’t pull the trigger on quickly enough – so I haven’t had much luck yet.

Of course, I really want these:

    Mixed with these:

…But they are just a tiny bit over budget! ;)

elizabeth, those are fabulous. wow. now i’m curious what the table you love looks like! i’ve been on a dining table + chair hunt for months. many months. finding something i love + in my price range is quite the challenge.

gorgeous, of course. i wonder if you could hire someone to make one similar for you?

I actually DID find someone, but the price was quite steep, and Mike doesn’t want to spend so much, especially before we build the new house. I think I am just going to wait and save, so once I have a new dining room, I can be all, “Look how patient I have been!”

very smart. plus, you may not know what sort of space you’ll have then. i’m sure whatever you’ll find will be beautiful, though!
