a few things

quote-book:ekaunoichii

wow, i can’t believe it’s been so long since i’ve blogged. i’ve missed it so, but have been busy. here’s a snippet of what we’ve been doing.

we’ve been soaking up lots of newborn moments with sweet e. i’m not even sure i can call her a newborn anymore since she already turned a month old! my how the days sneak on by.

i had a wonderful mother’s day. kacey gave me sweet smelling peonies along with this camera which i’ve been loving and using daily – mostly on little e. i also spent the weekend with my family who came to town to visit and see e in person for the first time.

speaking of visitors, we’ve had lots thanks to e and moving into a new home. ah, who am i kidding? it’s all thanks to e. it’s been really nice to be surrounded by friends and family during this wonderful time.

and finally, my mac got sick a couple of days ago. we brought it in to get it checked out and found out the logic board needs to be replaced. i hoping to get it back in few days.

so, readers, what’s been going on with you? i’d love to read a little snippet from your lives.

Your site is so well designed, and I enjoy visiting every day just to see what is new!

    Hmmm…. you asked, so I’ll answer! ;-)

Just started a new job. It’s going well. Went to a Stamp Show (as in postage) last weekend and spent waaaay too much money on vintage, unused postage. No buyers remorse whatsoever though. Giddy glee? Yep, plenty of that. Today I picked up gorgeous fresh strawberries, chocolate milk, and a new book. Then spent the late afternoon tending my cute 3 yr old nephew and 6 month old niece. (If they were any more darling, I think I’d have to bring them home with me!) Fresh flowers now on the table. Signed up for my first Letterpress class – at the end of the month. Saw “Letters to Juliet” last night – darling!

And that counts as a snippet, plus a little extra.
Hope you’re having a beautiful weekend!

We also have been enjoying our newborn and I also call him E. How funny! The hubby has been working nonstop and needs a break. We are taking a weekend trip to Austin for Memorial Day. Yippee! We cannot wait. The other kids are doing well, except for the nosebleed today. Hopefully we will be beach bound in July.

I know what you mean. My little girl is over a month old as well, and I’m so amazed at how the time has flown.
