We bought some new watercolors for Em today. She had been using a little kiddie set with a little cheap brush. We only had one brush and she wanted us to paint together as a family [aka at the same time]. Plus, she paints every single day. So after her dance class, we made a little pit stop at Jo-Ann’s. I didn’t intend to get watercolors too but these were so pretty! Bonus – a nice, new brush inside.

I also picked up a sketchbook filled with paper specifically for watercolors. We spent much of the afternoon watercoloring together.

Here’s the first one we completed. The colors are so vivid. Love.
