Flipping through the latest Pottery Barn Kids, catalog I noticed these Alexander & Co. personalized prints. It took me a bit, then I realized I had pinned the ballet one some time back! They are well done + a wonderful idea for a nursery or big kid’s room.
I love dressing Em in smocked dresses and I’m always hunting for pretty ones that don’t cost a pretty penny. These are two that I recently bought for Em at Smocked Auctions. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect quality wise but I just received the strawberry dress and I am so pleased! The dress material is nice and so is the smocking. It’s absolutely adorable. I’m so excited about them and can’t wait for the weather to warm up so Em can wear them!

Another favorite unconventional office supply? Embroidery scissors. I got this particular pair at the premiere of Handmade Nation a couple of years ago. I use them all the time. They are nice + sharp and perfect for cutting washi tape, ribbon + twine.

The last time they were on Zulily, I actually bought a couple of them – one for em and one for my niece. I was really impressed with the quality. The waist tie is even silk dupioni. So pretty.
