it’s been hot + sunny and perfectly summery. and i don’t know about you, but i think of pinwheels when i think of summer. so in honor of summer, we printed up these cheery saffron pinwheel note cards and added them to our etsy shop.

also, since welcoming a new addition to our little family, we’ve been holding off on taking custom orders. now, we’re happy to say we are fully open and welcoming custom work. so, shoot us an email [hello[at]duetletterpress.com] if you have something that you would like for us to work on! we’re itching to get rolling again!

as we prepared to welcome our baby girl into our family, we briefly shut down our shop. now that’s she’s here, we’ve reopened it and you can purchase any of our ready-made pieces. we’re going to hold off on custom projects at this time, but we are happy to get up an rolling again with pre-printed pieces.

we recently completed a couple of custom projects for jenna cole photography that i thought i’d share with you all. she wanted to include a gift pack of cards with her mailings. so, we printed these fun hello note cards using the icon and flirty typeface from her logo. we letterpress printed tags for her to use as well. i love how her wig, as she calls it, lends itself so well to such fun applications.

we’ve been doing lots of custom orders lately, particularly business cards. the first is a vertical set for maddie g designs. they are printed on a thick, baby blue cotton card stock. the other is a two color job for anna page photography.

speaking of custom orders, at this time we are not taking any custom jobs as we prepare to take a maternity leave. i can’t believe in a month or so we’ll have a little one in our arms!

we’ve gotten several requests for merci note cards based off of our letterpress printed merci tags. so, we’ve decided to add them to the shop. enjoy!

between graduation announcements, custom business cards, baby announcements and moving announcements, we’ve been quite busy in our little studio. above are house sketch moving announcements we recently completed for a couple of clients. like i’ve mentioned before, i really enjoy going back to the basics and taking pencil to paper to create these custom sketches, and i love how they turned out.

we wanted to share with you recent business cards that we designed + letterpress printed for lauren of every last detail. the back has a faux blind impression. in order to actually see the beautiful damask pattern, we used a very, very pale gray ink. using a touch of color visually separates the pattern from the background. we love how these turned out and really enjoyed working with lauren.
