I’d like to get lost in the clouds today. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

This year, the How Design Conference is going to be held in one of my favorite cities. Austin. It’s a really refreshing + inspiring conference. It’s great for networking, and I’m really considering attending.

The last How Design Conference I went to was years ago in New Orleans. I had just graduated from college and was eager to embrace design in the real word. Going to the workshops, hearing the speakers and meeting so many people in the design world was such an eye opening experience. And, since it was in New Orleans, it was way too close to pass up. I’m so happy I went, and every year I’d hoped to go back. It just never was feasible. But, Austin? Well that’s a hop skip and a jump away!

Oh, and How has a great guide to Austin for all the can’t misses of the city.

First there was Martha’s. Then there was Paper Source’s. Now there is Eddie’s. Three simple, gorgeous bow tutorials.

And just as quickly the clouds came, come dusk, they were completely and utterly gone.

Today was a Simpsons sky sorta day. I love days like this. A bright day with big fluffy clouds and crisp air.
