How cute are these cookies?! I just spotted them on Etsy and quickly added them to my favorites.

I really like this packaging Hammerpress designed + letterpress printed for Anna Mae Southern Bread Co. It’s so great + different, and I love the color palette.

Last night, Kacey and I went to the grand opening of Paloma’s Nest. I’ve been a fan of Caroline’s gorgeous work for a long time, so I’m thrilled that she now has a little boutique here in town.
Black and white striped paper lanterns greeted us at the entrance.
I loved her wooden name tags.
She offered these sweet Texas ornaments to all of the guests.
I wish I would have gotten a better shot of the structure they were all on. It was so pretty. Twisted limbs intertwined with crisp, white orchids.
The cakes + sweets by Polkadots were so divine looking that I grabbed a business card for future reference.
Congratulations, Caroline + good luck with your new adventure!
After spotting the pink merci cards we printed for Em’s birthday party, Courtney recently contacted us about creating similar merci cards for a baby shower. We printed them in a soft blue ink + printed a matching return address on the back flap of the envelope. I love how they turned out.
In other news, a big merci to RealSimple.com for featuring our custom sketch moving announcements. And, a big merci to Martha Stewart Weddings for showcasing our anniversary collection. We’re so, so thrilled!
We had a super busy + fun weekend. Friday night, we spent the night printing. Then, Saturday we headed to Houston to celebrate our niece’s 4th birthday. The party was held at a huge gymnasium where she and her brother take lessons. There were foam block pits to play in, slides, trampolines, lots of squishy surfaces to walk on and big spaces to run + roam in. The party was so much fun. Em truly enjoyed herself.
On Sunday, we took Em to the zoo for the first time.
She loves animals. She makes lots of animal sounds. Tiger growls. Lion roars. Elephant noises. She stomps like a rhino. When she saw them all in person, she got so excited. And, surprisingly, she wasn’t scared of them. Like the monkey below – she wanted to touch him. Don’t worry, he was behind a thick glass.
She also got to ride a carousel for the first time. She squealed with happiness when it began going up and down and the music started playing.
So much fun! How was your weekend? Anything exciting?
I’d been on the search for a business card case for a long time. My business cards are slimmer + thicker than usual so I knew I wanted to go the custom route. I spotted these on Etsy and decided to approach Kim about doing something custom for me. I’m so, so pleased with how they turned out! Now my pretty little cards are nice, protected + ready to hand out!
PS – While working on this post today, I decided to search through my past posts because I remembered blogging about a business card case that I really liked some time back. Turns out, the exact cases I blogged about two years ago are these. How funny + kismet is that?!
Pinned this packaging today. After a little digging, I found out they were designed by Here Design Company. I love the colors so much. Especially the pink bag. Soft pink and bold magenta are one of my favorite color combos. I’ve used it many times for things like our Valentine tags.
Pinterest really does me in. I always find the neatest/prettiest/craftiest things there. Today, among other things, I found these embroidered baby sheets. So beautiful + brilliant.
