I just stumbled upon Martha’s treasure trove of wedding cakes. They are so, so beautiful. I especially love these white on white, cream on white and muted colored ones.

I just discovered these illustrations by Brian Kaas. I very much love them, especially the sketchiness of his lines. When I sketch out something, often I find myself very eager to clean up the lines nice and neat once I get them into the computer. Seeing these makes me reconsider. His style is so fresh + playful and very inviting.

I’m finally coming up for air after being engulfed and in awe of Tim Walker’s stunning portfolio. He’s a truly talented London based photographer that I just rediscovered. I’ve seen one of two of his pictures floating around before, but seeing so much beauty all at once… Wow. I need air. Beautiful, beautiful air.

It was created for his personal identity system. I really love the three dimensional quality and how it seems to push the boundaries of lettering.

I spotted these graceful images while going through a photographer’s portfolio posted on The English Muse [a lovely read]. They are photographs from a famous Parisian photographer, Jeanloup Sieff. And, as a former dancer, they surely tug at my heart. Oh how I miss the satin and tulle. I suspect dance imagery will always make my heart skip a little beat.
