duet letterpress website 2012

It’s here! Our new website! Over the last few months we’ve worked so hard on it. Not only designing it, but implementing the site design ourselves, too – something a bit out of my comfort zone as a print designer. However, we really wanted to tackle it on our own so that we could update it more frequently adding more pictures and swapping out old ones as we design + print new fabulous projects.

On our new site, you’ll notice we have a new logo. How do you like it? Plus, we added new content like an about page and a more thorough contact page.

To celebrate the launch of our new site, you can use code LAUNCH2012 to take 12% off your ready-made order in our etsy store until Friday, May 4. Enjoy!

We just added these summery sea shell note cards to our shop. They come as a set of five and feature a different shell on each card. Enjoy!

Care for a little sneak peek of what we’ve been working on? It’s snippets from our new website redesign. If all goes as planned, we’ll be launching our new site Monday, April 30!

shop update // pinwheel notes

persimmon pinwheel

Each spring/summer we print pinwheel note cards in a pretty springy hue. The first year was saffron yellow. Last year was sage green. This year we chose persimmon, and they are available for purchase in our shop. Enjoy!

my little day

While looking for supplies for Em’s second birthday party, I discovered this adorable French party shop. I love the styling. And those kids? Cute. I love their expressions!

em’s growth chart

em's growth chart

A while back, I blogged about my search for a keepsake growth chart for Em. I’ve been meaning to share with you the one we ended up getting. We ordered the The Brimfield Growth Chart from Etsy. It’s a canvas growth chart that’s printed with a reproduction of an old black + white wooden ruler found in Massachusetts.

em's growth chart

It’s over six feet tall, which I’m glad about because at Em’s 2 year appointment, they took her height, doubled it and estimated that she’ll be 5’8″ as an adult. That might sound normal to you. However, to a shortie like me [from a short family!] that seems really tall!

Have you tired that measurement trick? Did it work for your kids?

birthday + easter weekend

em + easter egg hunt

How was your holiday weekend? Ours was busy but great! We kicked it off with an Easter egg hunt + birthday party for Em at her school. Then our families and friends came in to celebrate Em’s birthday. She turned two! Two. I can barely believe it. Then we had another Easter egg hunt at our house on Sunday. Here is Em after she discovered her homemade confetti eggs.

I can’t wait to share her birthday invites + party pictures with you. But first, I’ve got tons of picture sorting and editing to do!
